Many companies offer telecommuting to their employees as a convenient way to work on tasks from any location. Efficient and productive, this form of work offers benefits to both the company and the employees.
There are 3 options to implement telework in your company: the telework charter, the collective agreement and the agreement between the employer and the employee.
The employer must treat all employees equally, provide them with equipment, ensure that the right to disconnect is respected, inform them of the rules of teleworking, the IT charter, the internal regulations and ensure security at all times.
Depending on the telework charter or the collective agreement in place, the employee can choose his or her telework days in the respect of the good functioning of the company and the established rules. This is often done in agreement with the team manager.
Often, the company provides the teleworker's equipment and software. The employer may also cover the costs of regular telecommuting, such as through the telecommuting allowance.
